About the course: 

This course introduces you to the foundational knowledge in computer-aided design, manufacture, and the practical use of CNC machines. In this course, we begin with learning of how to properly sketch and model 3D parts. Before we program any tool-paths, we’ll explore CNC machining basics to ensure we have the ground level foundational knowledge needed to effectively define tool-paths. Finally, we explore the basics of setting up a CAM program and defining tool-paths to cut simple geometry. This is the same basic process that gets repeated for the design and manufacture of any part and is a critical step in learning and understanding the process.

 

Course Code: – MSME/MCCCT/41.

 

Objective: – The purposes of the qualification are:

• Learners who attain this qualification are competent in CNC machining and can get a job as CNC Programmer or become an entrepreneur. 
• Qualifying learners attain skills to work in Production department to carry out Manufacturing of Jigs and Fixtures, Press Tools, Moulds and Die Casting Dies using CNC Technology and CAM Software.

 

Eligibility: – Preferably Diploma in (Mech. Engineering / Prod. Engineering / Automobile Engineering or its equivalent) or higher.

 

Course Duration: – 780 Hrs ( 6Hrs/day ).

 

Nature: – Medium Term Course

 

Mode of Selection: – First cum First Serve Basis.

 

Certification: –A course completion certificate will be issued to the participants by MSME Technology Centre, under Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India.

 

Remark:-

* No Tuition fee will be charged from SC/ST candidates as per rule of Govt. of India subject to production of authentic cast   certificate issued by competent authorities only.

*Classes and demonstration will be conducted every day & doubt clear session with all day online /on-call support.

*Hard copy of certificate will be send to participant’s address by the post or it may also collect from our centre when situation gets normalized. 

*After successful completion of course, trainee can avail a free one week internship (practical /project base) training at our centre . (after this pandemic situation get normalize).

* Institute reserve the right to incorporate any changes in proposed schedule dates / Batch size without assigning any reason.
